The short version: the stories are here for you to enjoy. They are made to help you wind down, not to treat anything. Please read them, listen to them, share the link — just don't republish them as your own. Here is the longer version.
Who we are
Prince Freddie Studio Ltd (company number 17326303) runs letthedaysettle.com (The Settle) and princefreddie.com, and writes the stories. Contact: studio@princefreddie.com. By using this site you agree to these terms.
What this site is
A place to read and listen to sleep stories. You can get three full stories free by email on letthedaysettle.com, subscribe through the embedded Substack form to receive a new story each week, or ask for a short welcome series by commenting a keyword on one of our Instagram or Facebook posts. There is also a paid feed, The Settle Premium.
The stories and the artwork
The stories, audio narrations, illustrations, the Prince Freddie name and character are the original work of Prince Freddie Studio Ltd and are protected by copyright. You are welcome to read and listen to them for your own enjoyment, and to share links to them. You may not copy, republish, sell, narrate publicly, or use them to train machine-learning models without our written permission.
For relaxation, not medical advice
The stories are gentle entertainment, written to help you settle at the end of the day. They are not therapy, and they are not medical advice. If you have a persistent sleep problem, or sleep loss is affecting your health, please speak to a doctor or a qualified professional. Nothing on this site replaces medical care.
The newsletter
The weekly story is delivered by Substack. Subscribing happens inside the embedded Substack form and is also subject to Substack's terms. The newsletter is free. We intend to keep it that way, but we cannot promise it will run forever; if it ever changes or stops, we will say so. You can unsubscribe at any time with the one-click link in any email.
The three free nights

The Settle Premium
The Settle Premium is a paid podcast feed. Checkout, trials, billing and cancellation are handled by Supercast and are also subject to Supercast's terms. The price and any trial terms are shown before you pay.
The "Seven Quiet Nights" welcome series
On some pages, and on our Instagram and Facebook posts, we invite you to comment the word SLEEP or enter your email into a sign-up form to receive a short welcome series: seven short sleep stories, one each evening for a week. If you start this way:
- We send a confirmation email first. Nothing else is sent until you click the link in it.
- Once confirmed, one short story arrives each evening for seven evenings, then about one new story a week.
- You can unsubscribe at any time with the one-click link in any email, or by writing to us at studio@princefreddie.com.

Using the site fairly
Please use the site as intended. Don't try to break it, overload it, scrape it at scale, or use it for anything unlawful.
Links to other places
The site links out to other services — Substack, YouTube, and others. Those sites have their own terms and privacy policies, and we are not responsible for their content.
No warranty
The site is provided as it is. We work to keep it available and accurate, but we don't guarantee it will always be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for any loss arising from using — or being unable to use — the site. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.

Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction over any dispute.
